In Charleville, on Wednesday, at the house of his father-in-law Mr. RAWLEY, Mr. Thomas LACY, of Broad-street, Limerick. He was a young man of exemplary character, and much esteemed by his friends and acquaintenance. He bore a long and
trying illness with that fortitude inspired alone by the confidence of enjoying a better and happier existence, which is now the only consolation left a young and afficted widow, and esteemed father, to whom, he was always a dutiful and affectionate son.

On Sunday morning a man called Pat. SHEEDY was found dead on board a canal boat, the property of John REDDAN Esq, near Doonas. In consequence of some suspicion arising respecting the death, Mr. REDDAN, accompanied by Surgeon THWAITES, proceeded
yesterday to the place, where they were met by Thomas SAMPSON, Esq, coroner of the county Clare, and a respectable jury; after the most minute examination of the body by the surgeon, and strictest investigation of the jury, it clearly appeared that
Patrick SHEEDY died "by the visitaion of God".

Nocturnal delinquency On the night of Wednesday last, some nefarious villain or villains entered the demise of Andrew KERIN, Esq at Ballyally, Co Clare, and killed a fine breeding ewe. On the same night, and in the same neighbourhood a similar act
of atrocity was perpetrated on the property of Patrick REDDAN. In both cases the deed seems replete with wanton licentiousness. A portion of the fay only was removed, which was savagely torn through the sides of the animal, for the purpose, most probably
of disposing of it to the next chandler, in order to obtain the price of some whiskey, or to enable the perpetrator to indulge in some other criminal excess.
