A Tragedy of Epic Proportion
Oh tragedy, oh terrible fate that has befallen mankind. And I'm not talking about some measly little terrorist act. No blowing up some pissy little american buildings or a bus in London. I'm talking about something real and important!
I'm talking about the fact that someone rear ended me on Monday and put a dent in my car! My poor little car has a huge (the use of the word huge here may be a slight exaggeration) dent in the rear, and the bumper's all scratched up. $1000 worth of damage, which I will not be paying (I was the hittee not the hitter, and I wasn't even moving).
So what happened? Well, I was driving to work on beautiful sunny morning and everything was right in the world. I was on my way to the local children's hospital to donate some toys (wait, I already said I was going to work didn't I...., forget that last line). I came to an intersection on St Pauls Terrace in the Valley, I drove past and then stopped with the rest of the traffic. The guy behind me stopped on the other side of the intersection. Next thing I know, I get clobbered from behind. Best I can figure, the guy behind me waved the chick turning into the traffic from the left in. She proceeded to go, without looking to her left, which is right where I was.
Poor, poor little car.
