Well I Said I was Lazy
And it's not like it's been multiple months since I last wrote anything. Just haven't had much to say. Still don't really, but I'm sitting around doing nothing. So allow me to regale you with tales of nothingness
Ummm...., well. Oh, last weekend (that being easter) everybody's good buddy Shane came along to visit. So we had a few beers, and did stuff. This was all in lieu of seeing him May seeing as how he's now moved to Bundaberg. At least for 10 weeks, which is a most annoying period. My touch team has had varied results. Actually, that's not true, that makes it sound like we've won a game. It's just that last time we played (didn't play on Monday because of the public holiday) we may of lost about 8-1. But prior to that we had some good games, some good close losses, if that can at all make for a good game.
And this week was Heidi's birthday, so on Friday we went to the Butter Bistro at Kangaroo Point. It was very nice, food was good and it was just nice. Guess I'm just not used to restaurants being quiet. Afterwards, we went down the street to the Story Bridge Hotel. The girls went dancing (despite complaining about their heels, which were very nice heels, I like heels), Aaron and I stood around talking then Cam showed up (he'd left earlier to go play a game of volley ball) and being accosted by strange people.
Then we left. Stephie was again complaining about her shoes as walked ot the car, and using me to balance. She didn't think I could carry her (something about having put on weight, I'm not sure where). Admittedly I don't know how much further I could of carried her, but I proved her wrong.
Well, that's about my week. Now I'm going off to make some pumpkin and asparagus risotto.
