The Fort Lytton Easter Encampments
{Recreated Encampments 1991 to 1996}
The recreated Easter Encampments started in 1991, by Anthony Cryan and Brian Rough to commemorate the Military Encampments that were conducted at
Fort Lytton.
From 1993 to 1996 they were co-ordinated through Queensland Living History Federation Inc. - a society of Living
History and Reenactment groups interested in preserving Queensland's History.
Though primarily a Victorian Era Military event (1991 to 1992), the programme was then altered to represent a site specific time-line event in relation to the Fort, its location and the types of Units that served there.
(CURRENTLY NO ENCAMPMENTS ARE PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE)
