Preliminary Encampment Setup. Fort Area open for Unit arrival as required. NOTE: No meals will be available from Encampment Mess facilities.

Friday, 5th April 1996 - Non Public Day

Flag Escort comprising of Inter Unit Guard to Fort for Flag Up.

7:30am to 8:00am

Unit Commanders are required report to Adjutant to check registration

8:30am

Unit Commanders' call (including Senior NCOs)

9:20am

Encampment Parade (Main Parade)

9:30am to 5:00pm

Various unit activities - Fort Sentry, Artillery Drill, Inter-Company Drill, Bayonet Exercise, Signalling etc.

Encampment closed to Public

7:00pm

"The Quartermaster's Ruin" (Friday Night) :

Should individuals or units have something for sale - books, photographs, services, superseded equipment etc. - they are encouraged to bring these items along. Space will be provided.

A Smoke Concert was a time when everyone got together and relaxed - it also provided a source of entertainment. If your - or anyone in your unit - wishes to put on an act (Recitation, Song, Play an Instrument, Tell a Story), by all means do so... The concert will also be an opportunity to meet your fellow Living Historians.

Encampment Dining In Night (Sunday Night) :

The Dining In Night will be a formal dinner. It will be structured on a Mess Dinner with all associated ceremony. Its primary purpose is give individuals an opportunity to experience an activity that traditions are based on, and one which they may not have been able to participate before.
