Ferret starter panel.
A topic of discussion amongst American Ferret owners is the lack of an ignition key. As an Australian owner this had me a bit puzzled as ours all had a key. It seems that the vehicles imported to America are all late model Ferrets, mostly Mk1/2 and Mk 2/3, whilst ours are very early Mk 1s and Mk 2s.

As you can see in the above picture, the ignition key was an intended part of the design. This particular panel came out of a Humber GS truck, but it is identical to my Ferret's panel, just easier to photograph as it is sitting on a shelf.
Although these panels are common right across the FV series of vehicles eg Saracen/Saladin/Humber/Centurion/Thornycroft? etc, there are differences, some have a curved starter and light switch arm. But any one should bolt and connect in without a problem - hopefully.
