Autodealer 3

What does the Autodealer 3 do?

Deals automatically, four bridge hands from a deck of 52 cards placed in the right hand receptacle of the dealing machine.

  • Each bridge hand of 13 cards is dealt into a special board placed in the machine, or into four receptacles designated North, South, East and West.
  • Deals the complete set of hands in about 7 or 8 seconds.
  • The hands that are dealt are either a random set (up to 36 hands) generated in the computer, or hand sets generated by known and tested random hand generators. (We can adapt your file protocol to allow your special hand generator to produce the hand sets).
  • How Does the Autodealer 3 Do It?

It is connected to the serial port of any standard PC, running software (DOS and/or Windows) supplied with the machine.

  • The software generates random bridge hands at the push of a button, or press of a foot pedal, or as soon as you place the empty board in the machine, stores them (you can also print a hand record for up to 36 hands), and then deals them. A deck of 52 cards takes about 7 or 8 seconds to be dealt by the machine.
  • Bar coded cards are used (we can supply them or configure the software for your brand of bar coded cards) if you wish to place unsorted cards in the machine. If you wish to deal ordinary cards, they must be flushed into any one of four suit orders, from A,2,3....Q,K.
  • Why should your bridge club or organisation buy the Autodealer 3?

It provides predealt boards quickly, accurately and cheaply for all your club duplicate sessions.

It provides a hand record for every player for all sessions, stimulating more player interest and discussion - hence greater player involvement.

For teaching purposes, the Autodealer 3 will generate hand types of choice for your pupils to bid and play. We also supply Dealmaster Pro with all dealing machines. This is the world's best random dealing software.

For teams competition, equity is assured if everyone in the event plays the same boards. The Autodealer 3 makes this a cinch.

How much does it cost and what do you get?

The cost is AU$4,975 which includes the Autodealer 3, all necessary software, cables, and full operating instructions.

Twelve months warranty on any manufacturing defect covering all parts and labour.

Telephone, fax and email support indefinitely.

    What else do you need?

Cards. Preferably barcoded cards, which the Company can provide.

If barcoded cards are not used, ordinary cards must be flushed into numerical and suit order for the Autodealer 3. (EBA can now supply a new model dealing machine that does not require bar coded cards. For information email Dennis Yovich).

Cards may be dealt by the machine and manually placed in your card wallets, or automatically dealt directly into special boards, available from Electronic Bridge Accessories, which fit into the Autodealer 3.
