Being a bit of a waltz freak myself, having written hundreds over the years, I was, of course, happy to oblige.

                           Waltz Fwd 1/2, Waltz Back 1/2, Waltz Fwd, Waltz Back 1/4

1,2,3                         Waltz fwd L,R,L while making 1/2 turn left

4,5,6                         Waltz back R,L,R while making 1/2 turn left  (now facing front)

7,8,9                         Waltz fwd L,R,L

10,11,12                 Waltz R,L,R back making 1/4 turn left (facing 9 o’clock)

 

                                 Step Tap Hook, Sailor Waltz, Side, Behind Tap Hook, Sailor Waltz

13,14,15                 Step fwd on L, Touch/Tap R toe to right, Hook R behind L

16,17,18                 Step R behind L, Step L to left, Step R to right (sailor)

19,20,21                 Step L behind R, Touch/Tap R toe to right, Hitch R behind L

22,23,24                 Step R behind L, Step L to left, Step R to right  (sailor)

 

                                 Behind 1/4 Fwd Rock Back, Back Slide Turn 1/4, Waltz Fwd 1/4, Waltz Back

25,26,27                 Step L behind R, Making 1/4 right step fwd on R, Rock back on L

28,29,30                 Step back on R, Slide L to R, Turn body 1/4 left towards side wall

31,32,33                 Waltz fwd L,R,L while making 1/4 left (to face back wall)

34,35,36                 Waltz back R,L,R

 

                                 Step Touch Hold, Sailor Waltz, Sailor Waltz, Back Hook Hold

37,38,39                 Step fwd on L, Touch R toe to right side, Hold

40,41,42                 Step R behind L, Step L to left, Step R to right

43,44,45                 Step L behind R, Step R to right, Step L to left

46,47,48                 Step back on R, Hook L across R, Hold

 

THE FOLLOWING LOOKS MUCH HARDER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS…… don’t be put off by it.

                      * There is a tag/restart on wall 8

                       Dance up to count 14 and hold. She has just sung ‘you can hear..’

                      She then sings ‘an accordion’. On the word ‘accordion’ do this

1,2,3              Step R behind L, Step L to left, Step R to right  (Sailor waltz)

                      She then sings the word ‘play’. On the word play do this

4,5,6              Step L behind R, Step R to right, Step L to left (Sailor Waltz)

                      This is followed immediately by 3 distinct beats, do this

7,8,9              Step R behind L, Making 1/4 left step fwd on L, Step R beside L  (behind 1/4 fwd  together)

                      You will now be facing the front.  Start the dance again immediately

 

ENDINGTurn to face the front on steps 43,44,45 and then step R to right and slide L to R.

 

 

Isla Grant has a wonderfully relaxing voice
