Our wonderful mate Fred Adams from Melbourne helped me with this dance.  It is  dedicated to him and his incredible fighting spirit. Although I know he is often in pain ,his smile never wavers and he is truly an inspiration to us all.  Fred tells us that he is 'here for the short time, not the long time' …

Well Fred, only one thing in life is a sureity and that is the fact that everyone of us must be Called Home  at some stage .  Some of us may even  get there  before you  do, because there are no guarantees on life., you  go when the time is right for you.  I just think of it as a trip we haven't taken
yet and since Anneke's death 2 years ago I am no longer afraid of that journey.

What really counts are the memories you leave behind in other people's minds--and Fred you have left us many lovely ones which  will be remembered each time we  dance YOUR dance to this
beautiful song by Marie Haslemore. God bless you Fred  and thank you for your friendship - we love you to bits.  Hope to see you on the floor sometime  - somewhere…….Jan

FOOTNOTE:  Fred Adams died in Box Hill Hospital onApril 28th 2001. He is sadly missed.
