This dance focuses on Cha Cha Steps (or Triple Steps). They consist of 3 steps in 2 counts…(1&2) .

There are also Shuffles in this dance. A Shuffle is just the same timing as a Cha Cha Step but instead of being done on the spot, it moves. In this dance the Shuffle moves forward and back.

The song by Crystal Gayle is a quiet little song that will allow you to think about your steps.
Once you master the feel of a cha cha step you will enjoy dancing to music with a stronger beat.
In the meantime I hope you still enjoy this song because I think it’s nice.
Good luck with your cha cha steps.

See you on the floor sometime……...Jan
