Made in DIP 7
Plug-in used: Super Blade Pro
Eye Candy (Optional)
Open a new canvas and size to suit. I used 3 x 3 inches.
Add your dingbat:
Text>Insert Text> Type in the letter that corresponds with the ding you have chosen. (If you know that in advance it is much quicker).
Size to suit. I chose 95 which makes the corner just over an inch wide.

Change the colour to white:
Format>Colour or Texture>white.
Your ding won’t be visible at this point but it will be okay.
Next you will go to plug-ins to add the effect:
Effects>Plug-ins>Super Blade Pro.
Click on the little cd symbol with the right pointing arrow and select the effect you want.
For this example I chose "Cell" with default settings.

At this point, the text box is way bigger than the canvas so I make a cut-out and then delete the first layer:
Format>Create a Cut-Out>With Cookie Shape Cutter>Square.
Optional: I added a bevel at this point:
Effects>Plug-ins>Eye Candy 4000>Bevel. I chose "Carve with Lip" for this example

Optional: Now go back to Effects>Plug-ins>Eye Candy>Corona. I used gold to show as an example. Just play around with the different colours and widths til you are happy with the results.

Now duplicate the corner and flip horizontally.

Lock the layers together then duplicate and flip vertically. You now have 4 corners. Save as PNG. When you are ready to use the corners open the file and then "cut-out" each one and place on your work. You can make them individually if you prefer.
