Ó kimlizzy 2005

This tutorial assumes you have pre-made ribbon ready to use. You need two pieces measuring around 3"x.5".

Open a new canvas.

Open your ribbons then drag them onto the canvas.

Add shadows as required: Effects/Shadow/

Rotate each ribbon into position making sure the bottom corner of the ribbon top is aligned with the lower edge of the ribbon back.

Holding down the Ctrl key, click on both layers in the stack. Now right click and "Flatten Selected Objects."

Go to Format/Crop/Selected Object

Left click and drag the mouse to outline your ribbons. Move the right side in to meet the bottom corner of the ribbon front.

Click Done.

To make the fold look more realistic you will need to darken the edge.

Go to Touchup/Other Photo Repair/Dodge and Burn Brush

Select the following settings:

Holding down the left mouse button drag down the side of the ribbon.

Change to the following settings and keeping the crosshair on the edge, drag down from top to bottom.

Done.

Add a staple or eyelet if required.

Alternative - Make your ribbon wavy: Before you add your staple/eyelet go to: Effects/Distort/Wave2/Adjust the slider to suit. I used –8 for the example below.
