This will show you how to create perspective text on items such as pathways and roads.

Open a photo, duplicate and close the original.

Go to Text/Insert Text.

Drag the text box out so it fits the width of your photo.

Type in your text. **You may need to experiment to find a suitable font and may also need to adjust

the line spacing. In the example below I used ½ spacing.

*Hint: If you are using "repeated" text you can copy and paste to save time

.Make sure your text is greater in height than your photo.

Change the font and font size if required

Go to Effects/Distort and select Vertical Perspective

Adjust the degree of distortion to suit. This takes a little experimentation to get the right look. Again, it depends on the font, spacing and the total lines of text you start with. The more lines- the better.

Experiment with other perspectives also. You may find the Wave distortions work well. It really depends on the shape you are trying to achieve.

Go to Effects/Skew Object.

Use the adjustment circles to skew sideways and up and down.

Go to Effects/Transparency/Transparency Brush.

Hard Brush, 100% transparency.

Zoom in and erase the text you don’t want.

Do small sections at a time. If you release the mouse button periodically and make a mistake you can

click "undo last" to correct it. If you do large sections without releasing the mouse button you will have to start over if you make a mistake.

Done.
