Open your picture.

Duplicate: Edit/Duplicate whole project

Close the original.

Using either the Freehand Trace tool or the Edge Finder tool trace around the part of the picture you want to keep coloured.

On the Palette click on "Invert". The marching ants will now change to select the opposite area.

Go to Effects/Black and white.

Add filters/textures/blur to the background if required.

Click on the Object tool to complete the process.

Save as jpg.
