Plug-in used: Redfield’s Lattice Composer http://www.redfieldplugins.com/

Open a new canvas and size at the length you want your tape and .75" high.

Open another new canvas – same length but only .25 high.

Still working on the same canvas, Insert Shape/square/no line.

Resize to fit canvas: Format/Resize object to fit canvas/Stretch to fit.

Fill with colour of choice: Use the Paintbucket or go to Effects/Fill with colour or texture

Right click and select "copy".

From the Files stack on the right, click on the first canvas you opened to make it active.

Right click on the canvas and "paste". Your coloured strip is now in place at top of the canvas.

Now go to Effects/Plug-ins and navigate to Redfield’s Lattice Composer and select the Jalousie filter with the following settings:

Click Apply then Done.

Duplicate and flip the image: Ctrl + d then

The duplicate will be on top of the original.

Keeping the top layer selected use the Down Arrow on your keyboard to move the duplicate to the bottom of the canvas. Hint: Don’t depress the key too long or it speeds up too quickly. Do it a little at a time.

Duplicate and flip the bottom layer as before.

Using the Up Arrow on your keyboard, move this layer to the middle.

Hint: Use the Zoom tool to enlarge your work so you can see that there are no gaps between each piece.

Go to Edit/Flatten all objects. Save as png and you’re done.
