All Golden Retrievers are born lighter and their fur darkens up with age - up to 2 years old. The best way to get some idea of their adult coat is to look at the colour of their ears!

Sushi usually has pups that will grow up a rich dark shade of gold. Here is a picture from one of her recent litters when the pups were 6 weeks old.
