History traces Halloween back to the ancient religion of the Celtics in Ireland.
Beltane at the beginning of summer and Samhain (pronounced Sah-ween) at
the end of summer were their two main feasts. Samhain was meant to be a
time when the division between the two worlds became very thin, when
supernatural forces were active and ghosts and spirits were free to wander
as they pleased. Must be my Irish ancestry that sparks my fascination for the
spookiest night of the year! One day, I hope to write a ghosty, witchy, goosebumpy
type tale...
But for now, I'm so excited about my latest latest Desire, Baby Bequest,
which is available this month as an ebook! Gage and Jenna's story is already
an eharlequin ebook Bestseller! Read an excerpt here.
If you prefer a dash of sizzling fun with your emotion, be sure to pick up
Confessions of a Millionaire's Mistress, available for
order from Modern Heat. Take a peep at the first chapter here.
Nalini Singh will be blogging about What We Love About Novellas.
And Bronwyn Jameson will be chatting with Alison Roberts, Lilian Darcy,
Marion Lennox and Meredith Webber about their collaboration on the
fabulous CROCODILE CREEK series for Mills & Boon Medicals.
Good luck to those who entered the Modern Heat Win-An-Editor-For-A-Year
Contest! And lastly, apologies to those waiting to receive a copy of Baby Bequest
through any contest wins. My author copies were held up but arrived yesterday.
Thanks so much for your patience!
