Archived page, Recfishwest at the Have-A-Go Day, Wednesday 29 October 2008

The "Have-A-Go Day" is a free day organised by the Seniors Recreation Council of Western Australia to encourage Seniors to try a number of sporting and recreational activities, hopefully to go on after the day and join one of the many sport and recreation clubs catering for their needs.

The "Have-A-Go Day" will be held at Burswood Park, Great Eastern Highway, from 9am to 3pm.

Recfishwest will be there to talk about recreational fishing, with fishing rods and targets to let people try their hand at casting.

We will have a video screen displaying the videos from the Release Weight DVD and some other fishing DVDs.

Call in and have a talk with the Recfishwest people on the stand, ask them about what Recfishwest does for recreational fishing, current and future issues since the change of State Government, and anything else that interests or concerns you about recreational fishing in Western Australia.
