My shop at the Paddington
Antique Centre has been established for almost 23 years
now but previously, it was located in the now closed
Brisbane Antique Market at Clayfield. As the owner of
Yande Meannjin Antiques, I have firmly established myself
as a specialist decorative arts dealer with more than
28 years trade experience in World ceramics, Australian
pottery (especially the Harvey School,) glass, silver,
in fact, most small fine art collectables. A large range
of antiques and collectables is always in stock.
I mainly source my stock locally
from private sources and am constantly surprised at
what turns up, often in the most unexpected places.
With 16 or more large showcases and a high turnover,
stock is constantly changing and the serious collector
realises that a regular visit to my shop is a must.
In addition to my long term
experience as both a collector and dealer, I am a Commonwealth
approved valuer for glass, ceramics & Australian
pottery & glass, Secretary of the Queensland Antique
Dealers Association, Treasurer and life member of the
Queensland Antique Collectors Society, member of the
Australiana Society, member of the Wedgwood Society
of Queensland, editor of the glass sections and panelist
for Alan Carter publications and I have had published
many articles on art glass and pottery.
My special interests include
Art Glass and Australian Pottery, especially the Harvey
School, and I welcome enquiries from those interested
in any aspect of antiques and collectables. Please always

Paddington Antique Centre is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm
- 7 days. I am usually available on Monday and Friday,
often on Sunday and by appointment.
